How Jen Got Her Glow Back

Your Body Isn’t Broken. It’s Changing.

Perimenopause support from a nurse who’s been there — and actually got her glow back.

You’re not imagining it.

The sleep that stopped working for no obvious reason. The brain that feels like it’s running on dial-up. The anxiety that showed up uninvited sometime in your late 30s or early 40s and just… stayed.

This is a site about perimenopause. The phase most doctors don’t warn you about, that can start a full decade before your last period, and that somehow still gets dismissed as stress or aging or in your head.

I’m Jen. Registered nurse, mom, and the person who spent two-plus years thinking something was seriously wrong with her before putting the pieces together. I went deep on the research, tried a lot of things, and kept notes on what actually helped. This site is where I share that.

Nothing here is medical advice. But it is honest information written by someone who has read the actual studies and also lived through the 3am wake-ups, the brain fog, and the frustration of being told “you’re just stressed.”

New here? The Start Here page is the best place to begin. It covers what perimenopause actually is, the symptoms nobody mentions, and where to start depending on what’s bothering you most.
